I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost my high school sweetheart 4 years ago an my Mom last year. The best thing for me has been some grief counseling. I also go on Pinterest but grief in the browser all kinds of things on grief will pop up. They even have worksheets..I copied them off put in a binder answer the questions on paper an date my entries that way in a few months you can go back an see your progress...it has been so helpful to meπŸ’“πŸ€ŸπŸ™

Sorry to here this! I also lost my Dad when I just turned 29. Lost my Mom when I was 22 years old! On my Facebook page I have an article on what not to do when you grieve. You are welcome to take a look at it. I wish I knew the things not to do much sooner! I am guilty of most the things!

So very sorry to hear this Emily. My mother died just after my 30th birthday. She thought she had a flu that wouldn’t get better so she was admitted to hospital for tests. One day later her blood tests showed that she had advanced leukaemia. They could do nothing for her and she died 19 days later. I thought I would die as well. I am 72 now and the pain of her death 42 years later is still horrible. No matter how old we are, there is nobody as important as our mother. Just be grateful for the wonderful years you had with your parents. Your memories become very precious at this point in your life.

No one ever totally overcomes grief -- they grieve, they accept, but they never forget. As long as the person lives in your heart & memories....they are still alive, but missed terrribly.
