People must not let their childhood define their future. Yes it was traumatic and horrible but as adults we must take responsibility and take care of ourselves. Get healed. Get healed. Get therapy. Get on medication. Living unmedicated and carelessly isnt fair to ourselves or our loved ones.
As far as the criminal side. Yes it has a lot to do with why we do what we do. But having gone through that doesn't give us a free pass to act however we want, break the laws, treat people however or blame our parents. Take responsibility for your life.
