Anybody Getting Sicker Since They Started Medication?
My official diagnosis is bipolar otherwise unspecified. I don't actually have bipolar disorder, my doctor said it's more emotional dysregulation but for the purposes of the medical aid & treatment they put bipolar. I'm also anemic so I'm on iron supplements
I've noticed that I get sick more often since I started the treatment over a year ago. I'm on Seroquel, Epitec, brintellix & an iron supplement plus contraceptives to regulate my cycle. Has anybody else noticed that they feel nausea more… read more
My daughter was on brintellex for a month but had to stop because she got really nauseated from it.
Same happened with me. Extremely nauseated, even had to bring up and lost a lot of weight.
Yes Trintellix can make you nauseous. I eat breakfast then take it. Works better for me that way.
Brintellix caused me to gain a lot of weight. Seroquel sedated me so much I couldn't function. If you're feeling nauseous it probably is a side effect of medication. I take omeprazole when I have an upset stomach. If the medication is making a noticeable and positive difference in your mood, I guess you have to balance pro's and cons and decide if it's worth it. Otherwise tell your doctor the specific side effects you are experiencing and ask him to try a different medication. Good luck to you.
