I have had two sessions with my emdr therapist now and have my third tomorrow. We haven't started proper emdr yet as they've both been getting to know me sessions. Let me know how you go though, I'm a bit nervous too but try to focus on the possibility of it helping me turn my life around, hope that helps somewhat xx

@A MyDepressionTeam Member It was an initial "get to know therapist" session. So we never did anything related to EMDR yet. She is also collecting information for the insurance type place that are paying for the treatment. I will definitely update how it goes when I actually start. I am still nervous about this.

I tried EMDR years ago and it didn't work for me. I have thought about trying it again with someone who has more experience with it. Good luck to you!
