Sadwoneand Joe l would recommend you guys should stay for a while longer. Theres stuff to learn on this site because there are some pretty smart people here. Its your choice of course but l have discovered this is quite a positive and educational place to share or vent. The main thing is everyone l have encountered tries to help or at least understands. Thats all l have to say now...

To tell you the truth I dont think there is one treatment for PTSD or for that matter a cure from my experience treatment has to be kinda fluid and changing to some extent yes weed helps (then again weeds helps with pretty much everything) been through lot and I.mean lots of different med combos they work for relatively short term then just fizzel out in part I guess do to my own mind and how my PTSD is affecting me at the time .what I've found works for me most often was having psychiatrist for 10 years that I could talk to, rant to ,and get educated suggestions from when needed . After 11 years she was offered her dream job out west and moved away leaving me kinda out there that's why I m trying this group .best advice I can give is take it day by day and try to find 1 positive thing in your life that you can focus on when it gets to the point of just being done that makes you hold on . For me it's my kids . I can say without a doubt in my mind they are the only reason I'm still here I won't lie at one point I almost wasnt 2 times in one year not suicide just destructive addictions trying to numb the pain came to twice in an ambulance .
