How Do I Face Extreme Loneliness??

A MyDepressionTeam Member asked a question 💭
USA

Im just getting started getting back on my feet. I have a room mate & have a few job interviews this week. When I do get a place, being a single woman,I’ll be alone. I have panic attacks just of the thought. It scares me because I’ve never really been on my own. By myself physically or financially. Im scared. Does anyone’s else have or had this problem?

Pets are a great alternative!! I have a cat and she has been my constant for the past 10 yrs. Shes always been there for me! I love it when she lays on me bc she could literally be anywhere else in the house but she's choosing to lay w me and it makes me feel loved!

Yes! Get a dog! They will always greet you upon arriving home, will stay by your side, and alert you to anything suspicious. I have five, and one is my Emotional Support Animal.

I have several cats...I love them all until they try to crowd me out of bed! But yes animals are the best companions to have. They don't talk back they understand when you are down. They give you unconditional love all the time.
