Does Anyone Feel Like Their Depression Is Worse In Seasonal Changes?
I feel most suicidal when the season's change, its like my depression spikes or is it my bipolar disorder that causes this?
@A MyDepressionTeam Member I have S.A.D. and Fall and Winter with less sun always makes it worse and if you have never heard of it, it is a proven real thing.
SAD is an acronym for seasonal affective disorder, a disorder often classified as a form of depression that is typically most severe during the fall and winter months. It is sometimes formally or alternatively called major depressive disorder with a seasonal pattern.
Do you feel you have this? If so it is recommended to get as much sunshine and light during this time as you can.
Good luck and I know all of these things are so very hard to live with but you have all of us to lean on and help you.

I get really depressed when fall changes to winter. Partly because I don't like going out in the cold and I tend to think of all the things I didn't do when it was warmer out.
I have seasonal depression as well. Especially in the winter. But the other three seasons mess me up as well.
I'm far from being an expert. But there is seasonal depression especially in the winter. Mine really siinks me.
I get worse when there are many gray days in a row which tends to happen most in the Winter, my friends. . . I do have suicidal thoughts and feelings but that seems to be more related to tough situations and circumstances than to seasonal changes. . .
Peace and love,
