Yes, I need my family, too, but to love me for who I am, not to beat me up. . .

Your situation seems tough. My heart goes out to you. If people are toxic, even family, you might set some boundaries for yourself that you're not gonna take their abuse anymore. If you need a shoulder or ears, hit me up.

Hi Amanda, I too suffer from anxiety, depression, and panic attacks. I label them what they are. I can tell the difference between the anxiety/ panic and the depression. It really sucks the life out of me especially when it's anxiety and depression at the same time. A terrible storm indeed. Anyway just wanted to say hi and here if you need to chat.

Hi Amanda, I really am an old homeless man but am also one who suffers greatly from anxiety and depression as well as from family dysfunction issues as do you. . . And I have enjoyed talking with you, too. . . Let's keep on talking! I believe we can help each other. . .
Peace and love,
Cool Cat. . .

Hi Amanda,
Sure, no problem. . . Most people do not understand, it seems, what it takes for some of us to simply get through the day without falling apart, and they do not show much if any interest in finding that out!
. . Many if not most people also do not seem to see the issue as a family issue but instead as the problem(s) of the "crazy one," i.e. the "identified patient", the one who has been labeled with psychiatric diagnoses or disorders. . .
This permits the family members to be uninvolved in the patient's and in their own much needed recovery from dysfunction . .
I have experienced these kinds of things myself within my own family of origin. . . . .
Peace and love,
Cool Cat . .
