Never give up! Look for a provider who can find the right meds for you. Sometimes it's hit or miss but eventually you'll find something that works. See a counselor, keep in touch with friends if you have any, go to church to make new friends and become active in activities there when you feel comfortable.

If you mean without meds I try to..when I feel myself slipping in to darker place I paint, I'm no artist by any means but it makes me focus on that painting it doesn't always work but when it does I loose myself for a good while and somehow it makes me feel better. Another thing is I bake everything and anything. I find it hard to leave the house so walking for me isn't really the best thing finding something interesting to get into while having depression is very hard as I'm sure you know but if you just try different things in small steps you might just get something out of it as in destration. I wasn't always able to do this but when I started trying different hobbies or things I found interesting and see good end results made me feel so much better about myself I felt less of a failure surprised I could actually do what I set out to do and seeing the people eating what I made and like it made me feel happy even if it was for only a minute. Might sound a bit silly but I swear it really has helped me... Best Wishes and better days/nights for you ❤️
