I don't know if my therapist thinks it went badly, though.

Dear Darcy I have had my current therapist for 4 plus years and I sometimes have a bad experience but as I look at the why afterwords. I understand her point of view and she does challenge me and I cry from time to time. Therapists are not gods or are they always right but if you find one who is 90% and challenges you then you have a good one. I disagree with getting rid of the therapist especially if the good outweighs the bad. Like I said these people are not Gods and can't work miracles. My last therapist god bless him, never really challenged me and I find that is when I really learn something (Even though I admired him) keep posting about it, you will find the answer. But don't listen to us we are just as whacky

I'm sure she could tell, Darcy. And maybe you just didn't want to deal with directly confronting that at that moment.

From my perspective, there's no such thing as a bad client to a good counselor because whatever you exhibit is exactly where you are, regardless of the words used. 🤗

Why do you think of it as a bad session, Darcy?

It was my 1st bad session and like I said it was on my end.
