I Have kidney stone and an ovarian cyst at the sametime. I've never had any kind of obgyn appointment. Im really terrified to go. I know it's probably stupid. I was inappropriately touches by a doctor when i was a younger. I have to follow up with my doctor and i was wondering if o should bring my fear up? I am really worried i wont be able to open my legs or end up having an anxiety attack. I don't want to go through with this. Please be kind, you all usually are

Have you thought about finding female doctors? My ob/gyn had a sticker on the ceiling that said “smile your doctor is watching you” and it made you laugh , so if you can think of something happy in your life and do your breathing techniques then I am sure you will be fine. Just remember all of us and we are rooting for you and since they know what it is they might not have to do a pelvic exam.

I've had a five pound cyst removed. I have 1 overy left ( why I still have it, I don't know) I was really shy.18 at the time (48 now) get one of your female friends to with you.

They are more opt to give you a medication to help you relax than they are to put you completely under most because they don’t have the equipment in their office to monitor you while you are under. Most generally you have to go to the hospital for that.

@A MyDepressionTeam Member I talked to the office and they only have one male doctor. They are getting a female and I'm on that waiting list. I don't know when she will start though.

@A MyDepressionTeam Member wow! Mine is only 4 to 5cm. I'm worried it will get bigger.I'm not sure if I'll need surgery. I don't have any friends. Thanks for the support. I'm glad your ok now.
@A MyDepressionTeam Member Ive never really talked about it. I emailed a therapist a couple years ago but I couldn't go in cause of covid and she's moved on now.
I'm sorry that happened to you. I'm glad you were able to find a doctor.
