Ground yourself when you start having an anxiety or panic attack.

Choose 5 things you can see with your own eyes.
Choose 4 things you can feel/touch with your own hands.
Choose 3 things you can hear with your own ears.
Choose 2 things you can smell with your own nose.
Choose 1 thing you can taste with your own tastebuds.

This technique is supposed to help relieve anxiety and stress, and it’s using mindfulness to help bring you back down to earth…hence the word
Grounding.
