Being on the right meds, but they take time- and a lot of changes in meds too. It’s a guessing game for sure. But there’s a thing called genesight testing that when you do it it will tell you which meds work with your genes.

I highly recommend Genesight testing! It was a real eye-opener to see all of the meds I was prescribed for depression that were NOT compatible with my genetic makeup. It is also helpful if you have other concerns about genetics (I am type 1 diabetic), and to see the influence of genes on good and bad drug interactions

I have bipolar 2. I keep track of my moods by journaling. I do distractions like walking , drawing etc. I do lots of coping skills I see a therapist so that helps.

Yes! I would recommend the genesight testing! I had it done all the way back in 2019. It helped me out a lot!
