Trigger Warning ⚠️⚠️⚠️ Picture Of Incisions

A MyDepressionTeam Member asked a question 💭
Not telling

I am one week laproscopic post op. The surgeon had to make an incision because the cyst was bigger than he thought. I'm having more pain where i was cut than the other two I have. I was wondering if those who have had this is normal
I'm too scared to go on reddit for support after the experiences I've had. I can't really find any photos that look like this one. I don't have any signs of infection. I'm seeing my doctor on the 30th and I don't want to be overdramatic if there is no reason. I'm… read more

@A MyDepressionTeam Member I had cancer surgery and then reconstructive surgery on nearly half of my face and was told by my plastic surgeon to use Palmers Cocoa Butter with Vitamin E and if you don’t look close or know where it was you really can’t tell. I had I think was 67 stitches and he got tired removing them he had to take a break. I told my sister that when we left there I needed to get vitamin E and that’s when he told me about Palmers but you have to also realize that when they stitched you it was in a place that wouldn’t show all of the time so they didn’t take their time or make tiny stitches.

Good luck and please keep me informed on how you are doing and how you heal and always keep Palmers on hand because it is great

Yes, he said it was large. The nurse said it was possibly pulling on my organs which was causing the pain I had. I haven't really had the same type of pain I was so I'm hoping. I'm having a little pain where my ovary was. I'm pretty sure that's normal. I'm not looking forward to the post op visit. I'm going just wish I didn't have to.
I got my pillow that's helping and ice seems to be better than heat for me. I'm getting tired of the waiting. Recovery is kind slow going thinking about eight weeks.

Kaye it is looking good to me and seems like it is healing very well. Boy it must have been large for him to cut you this long but just think how much better you will feel after you are completely healed.

Hugs and hang in there.

@A MyDepressionTeam Member yeah I would agree. No just one ovary and tube. Wow that sucks. I get worried about mine from time to time but it seems like it won't happen.

No now that is one thing I haven’t had to deal with but I think it is easier on a woman than a.man.

It’s really great to hear that you are enlightened and must have been a nice size cyst for to cut you that much. Didn’t you say you had a hysterectomy? They take your parts out through the tube so it looks like they could also have done the cyst the same way.

I have had so many surgeries that way, they were running out of places in and around my navel lol, it not really funny because it is true. It has been a few years because I really have nothing left to tak except my appendix and it isn’t removed that wa.

Hugs and so happy for you and your healthy body my friend
