I've been taking a high dose of Effexor since I gave birth to my daughter who's almost 18 months old. But if I miss a dose, I feel like I'm having a breakdown because the withdrawal symptoms are so bad. Does this happen to anyone else? What should I do?
Yes I also take a high dose (have been for 15+ years). This is not a medication someone should stop cold turkey. It needs to be gradually reduced (like every few months).
I was on effexor years ago. Worst ever medication, for me anyway. It made me feel manic! On Lexapro now
She's adorable
If you are stopping Effexor you will have a lot of withdrawals. It took about 3m for the side effects to go away. I have been off of it for a year and never been the same. On line it says that you will probably never get over some side effects. I’m trying to get back on it. Never felt right since I have been off of it.
Hi, I’m off of it now but when I was taking Effexor it helped me a lot. I was on it for about 10y
