I don't hate the holidays,I hate being alone

The holidays can be hard. For sure. I know that I struggle with it. Especially when I feel like I'm alone. Thanksgiving was hard. I ended up going to a community meal and it was nice because I got to try a lot of different things. But hard also. But when you begin to see it thru the lens of people who have no family at all. I feel blessed to have members of my church and I do have a dysfunctional mom and disabled brother. My friend lost her mom in October and she just lost her dad last week. If she wasn't a strong Christian and have a good relationship with her family I know that she would be in a much more difficult place.
