Major Depressive Disorder NON-SSRI Anti-Depressants That Actually Work??
I've tried many different meds over the years, mostly SSRI's, with little to no effect.
I've also tried Wellbutrin, which made me totally insane, and just tried Lithium, which I also reacted badly to (intense itching all over my body & extreme nausea).
I'm just looking for some other medications I can ask my doctor about.
I tried alot of different meds including those you mentioned. Trial and error. Cymbolta seems to work best for me

I take Cymbalta ,One in the day and one at night .It just don't feel like it's helping anymore. I've been taking it for a year now.
I took Celexa for years and when my mom died it wasn't enough please see your dr. There are better meds that work. Merry Christmas and God bless you 🙏 ❤

Ive been on so many medications and the inly thing that really works, that keeps me baseline is cymbalta. I'm very scared about the recall. I don't know what I'm gonna do. I've been on it for years now and I'm really scard. Ny shrink is really isnt worth much for help. They apparently dont believe in anti anxiety pills even though they could be a great help to people who are not addicts. I called my pharmacy and the pharmacist unless you get a notice not a concern. I take the same med.

Speak to your doctor, explain why you are not finding it to be beneficial, the doctor should review your meds and suggest trying something new.

Dealing With Symptoms Or Side Effects?
This is my own personal experience... I had been taking a low dose of Seroquel for about 2 ½ years, feeling very depressed and low, my psychiatrist decided to take me off Seroquel I was prescribed Bupropion.
