Achievement is real important to me. Many things I'd like to be good at and even maybe make some money from
When I was younger I was heavily medicated and in those day the drugs were very strong. Various cocktails got me through my teens alive but I think they have left a few scars. I went off them for good 10 years ago and the first thing I noticed was that I got back my comprehension skills. Medicated during my years of study meant I did not do very well. I have no definitive evidence that… read more

Absolutely, I have little to no short term memory n my long term one is stuffed from all the different meds I've had over the last 18-20 years. I can't remember most of the time when my kids were small bit there's nothing I can do. I cope now by keeping a note pad close or my calender on my phone. One of the only ways I can still hold down a job. Take care n don't be too hard on yourself

Wow that's incredible. I have severe short term memory loss for 10 years of psychotropics. I think mine is due to taking them Wen they weren't really safe for my blood disorder. I cope by keeping a diary n reminder lists in my phone or in my diary, right down to do washing n cleaning. Was a nightmare in the begining bit now it's second nature. Hope it helps. Take care n good luck, ull get there

I took some medications for years not and it messed with my memory real bad. I have did some research on mental meds and most have something to do with a function we rely on. Not good thing at all. I am trying to rebuild my damage by doing certain exercises for it. Hopefully it will work.

I went through a period of being highly medicated. I don't remember much about that time. I still have difficulty focusing and concentrating. I feel that it is from the medications I was taking.
