Need More Wayd To Get Rid Of Anxiety. Any Ideas?

Do you have any hobbies you enjoy, exercise like walking helps, I just try to keep busy my dogs, yard work, lots of crafts.

Do you meditate? Write in a journal? I close my eyes and just start counting, to 200, then if I'm not more relaxed, I do it again. It helps keep my mind on the counting and not on the anxiety. Walking can be good , outdoors in the sunshine, in the fresh air. Slowly keeping my breathing even, I keep it and my heart as calm as I can, and keep breathing slowly, really concentrating, it helps alot of times, you may have to do it for awhile, I close my eyes when I do it, to keep everything else out of my mind. I hope this helps!
Also, getting or giving yourself a neck and shoulder rub can help, where our stress sits.

I have high anxiety and huge panic attacks. I'm going through horrific hell now. After walking my dog I cant wait to get to bed. The ONLY thing that comforts me and calms me down is clozapam. It's so bad that my shrink prescribed 4 a day for me! It does totally calm me and I've been on them for 17 long years! But I have to start doing my part by getting out of bed and getting a life. ANY type of mental illness is not to be over looked. People in their greatest to lowest amour of pain needs a hug, love and encourage me. I'm so glad you have your little family. Go to your family doctor or get a doctor and tell him what your going through and talk about clonazepam.
It wont hurt to try!

Is it all day long anxiety or do you get busts of anxiety like attacks?

What symptoms are your experiencing? There are many coping stratagies. Exercise is usually the best with music. Trouble breathing- deep breathes. Getting to the cause of the anxiety is the best if you can pinpoint what is causing it. Then taking it from there. Need to chat- chime in
