that is a question for your health care provider. Most meds can be increased/decreased to help with symptoms.

Yes, I am on Abilify. It boosts your antidepressant. When I first started taking it I noticed a marked improvement in my moods. I went from being extremely depressed and crying to feeling like I could get back into my life again. It was gradual and each day I felt better and better. I'd say within a week or so you should feel some improvement.

I would recommend speaking to a therapist and psych about that. For me, an increase in my medication did make a difference. But the medications for depression won't cure anything, they aid you in working towards coping better.
