I used to take Adderall. Sure it helps. But, like Grace said it is addicting. When my new NP saw I was taking them he took me off them. He said anyone my age 50s should not take because it's hard on the heart. It's like legal meth. Coming off of them was so hard.. I craved them, slept all the time..like a hard, deep sleep. It lasted for months. There might be alternatives but I don't know what they are.

I'm not sure about pills. but I think Adderall is very additive. Be very careful. You don't want to deal with an addiction on top of depression it stinks I tell you. Think of you and I hope you can figure it out. Talk to your doctor about it.
