Can't shake this depression. It's not even been a week. Hate the side effects. Can't drink coffee with welbrutrin.

I agree with C10, what works well for one person does not necessarily work well for the next. My suggestion would be to go back to your doctor to discuss the troubling side effects. In addition, to my knowledge, it takes up to six weeks for an antidepressant to take effect. your doctor is your best guidance. Best of luck my friend.

A lot of the anti-depressant med's take around a month to start taking effect.
In saying that if you are having major side effect's definitely talk to your Dr - that particular medication may not be right for you.

Wellbutrin helps me a lot, too. It takes longer than a week. Adding CoQ10 and Vitamin D has given me more mental clarity.

How many mg.are you on? I started Welbutrin with 150....I tolerated it well so Dr, had me double to 300. That turned me into a mess. So back to 150 plus 400 mg of Prozac. Combination works pretty well.

The side effects can take a toll, but give it a little more time for the meds to take affect. Please see your Dr if your really struggling with the side effects though . My thoughts are with you.
