How Do Y'all Manage Your Anger,i Find It Really Hard To Control Mine. Anyone Help!

I hold everything in till I blow. I’m working on it by taking a breath and asking if it’s really worth losing my cool over.
I think about what it is that I am really angry about, and it's usually covering some kind of hurt. I find that writing it out is most helpful! I don't want to hurt someone else's feelings by unleashing my fury on them, or scare them with my violent actions or venting. I try to treat everyone with kindness, and put myself in their place--how would I like somebody to do to me, what I am thinking about doing or saying to them. I talk about not liking their behavior instead of not liking them. Use "I" statements. Like I felt ____ when ____ happened, and I didn't understand why you made that decision.
It's harder at times than others, depending how triggering the situation or person is
i still have issues controlling my anger. It is usually more when I am at home. I am a little bit more under control when I am out in public. I know this is part of my bipolar and trying to learn coping mechanisms.
