For People With Chronic Depression, How Have You Dealt With Intense Grief?
My husband of 25 years was struck and run over by a passenger van last January. He suffered for 5 months, then died in June. I am having an awful time dealing with this. Go to the beach. You will find peace. I love the beach. Therapy ,Beach Therapy, lying on the beach is like the Sofa you lay on in Therapy. God is the therapist. The sound of the water coming in & out. The smell of the beach tropical coconut. When you leave you will feel so relaxed and have a sense of peace.
I'm a big fan of meds. You might need some if only to get over the hump

I totally agree with Donna. I see you too are from WI, Katie2. In the small town of Cleveland, just south of Manitowoc, on Lake Michigan, there is a tiny little beach called Hika Bay. On Hwy. LS. Please try it....this is the rock beach I was saying before. I know this sounds goofy....but we can always meet up and collect rocks with you.
I smoke my happy vape a LOT. Especially since my daughter passed away. I'm on tons of meds for all my mental health problems, see a councilor and see someone for my meds every 3 months. They know I happy vape. They also say do thing my daughter loved to do. Like going to the beach and collecting beautiful stones, eat that Mac and cheese sometimes, collect uranium glass like she did. Stuff like to keep your deceased one alive within you.
