Every person has a different experience with medications. One thing that I have found very helpful is genetic testing. It reveals what medications are best for you personally, based on your genetic makeup. This can guide the doctors into making decisions. Also, do research on your own and find one that you think would help you and suggest it to your doc. Being a personal advocate is the best way to get what you need.
By GP do you mean general practitioners? ?if so goto a psychiatrist instead. I have used all the ones you mentioned...some times it about dosage strength and all antidepressants take time to reach level in your system...
