I Have Insomnia. But Not Sure If From Medication Cause Been Like This For Couple 4 Years And Been On Zoloft Since At Yiung Age
I used to suffer from terrible insomnia until I started taking over-the-counter Melatonin. It's a natural sleep aid that has also been said to slow the aging process. I've been taking it for 25 years and highly recommend Melatonin for insomnia.
I've been an insomniac since I was 14 I am now 33 I have been on more sleep medications than I can remember. I tried the melatonin thing it didn't work for me either. I have basically tried everything. My best night on my cocktail of medications that should knock me out in ten minutes that I take at 9 that start working at 1 am then I wake up again around 5 am for about two hours and drift off to sleep for maybe 30 minutes then I awake again this time wide awake. I have done sleep studies but there is nothing wrong there and there were honestly shocked to see me there. This is the best sleep I will ever get. So I cherish it. Even if it is just the medications and in a year we will have to figure out another regiment. Those days will really be hard but you have to take the good with the bad.
I ran out of my meds (stupid me) and when I called for a repeat script they said I had to see doc first. I see her every two months. Tell me how that works when doc is on leave for two weeks. I am seeing another partner tomorrow’s but sleep has been less kind to me and the dreams have been outrageously psychedelic. Don’t know if it’s been because I haven’t had meds’ or if it’s just a symptom of added drugs for high blood pressure that I am having to take. I feel like a zombie during the day.
I have awful, terrible insomnia. I'd be lucky to get to sleep by 6 am. It's better now. I have found that my combination of Xanax, Seroquel, Zyprexa, and Buspar helps me get to sleep by about 3 am. I don't know why I can't go to sleep. And when I do, I usually have vivid nightmares.
